| PART NUMBERING SYSTEM FOR ORDERING |
|
MODEL NUMBER: Solenoid's model number. The numerical value indicates the diameter of the plunger measured in millimeters (mm) in most instances. For Push Type solenoids, a "-PH" suffix is added to the model number (i.e. 7M-PH, 10C-PH).
VOLTAGE: 6, 12 and 24V DC are standard. Other voltages are available as options. Please enter the desired voltage value when placing an order.
WATTAGE: Solenoids on this page are designed on the basis of a maximum allowable input wattage without exceeding a 105°C (221°F) stabilized coil temperature when operated at the rated duty cycle in a 20°C (68°F) ambient temperature.
PLUNGER EXTERNAL END TYPE: Plunger external end types are available as follows. Type 'G' is highly recommended because of its ease of production as well as its low cost. We can also custom design the plunger to your exact specifications.
Plunger External End Configurations for Pull Type Solenoids:

Plunger External End Configurations for Push Type Solenoids:
PLUNGER/PIPE COATING: Life expectancy of 100,000 cycles, with the nickel plated plunger, is standard. Long life versions with up to 10,000,000 cycles is also available with specially coated plunger/pipe options. Solenoid life* is influenced mainly by the finish on the plunger and/or pipe; however, carrying any type of load on the plunger will shorten the life of solenoid. Since many factors other than lubrication are involved, the cycle values shown in the table below are approximate and for normal operating conditions.
